High Noon Auction
The 2010 High Noon Western Americana Auction featured Eric's oil painting, "The Alamo - March 6, 1836" in their prestigious fine art auction. The popularity of Eric's work has earned him an invitation to the next High Noon auction.
Brian Lebel Auction
"Season of the Buffalo Grass" sold at the 2010 Brian Lebel Old West Show and Auction in Denver.
"Quest for the West Exhibition" at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art in Indianapolis will feature a new work by Eric entitled "Raiders on the Brazo".
The Watercolor Sketchbook
Eric Michaels favorite tool for en plein air painting is his watercolor sketchbook. Convenient, portable and unobtrusive, a sketchbook travels with him where ever in the world he goes to paint. Back in the studio, Eric developed oil paintings from those field studies.

Purchased for Permanent Collection
The Booth Western Art Museum, purchased a recent work, "Chihuahua - 3 Diciembre 1913", by Eric Michaels for their permanent collection. The painting was aquired during the "Quest for the West Exhibition" at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art in Indianapolis.
